The city of Rosenheim is currently retrofitting the area around the main station. Roofed bus stops with integrated PV-panels are planned and will provide electricity for lighting, guest information, charching e-bikes and e-.cars. Furthermore a battery storage with a capacity of 75kWh will be installed to collect the surplus electricity. The construction will be self-sufficient. All in all this means a reduction of CO2 emissions of about 60 tonnes per year for the city of Rosenheim. This lighthouse project will be executed in the first quarter of 2018.
