SINFONIA to inspire children at the 14th Action Day organised by the University of Innsbruck

What can make my city smarter? How can my school become more energy efficient? And why do we have to save energy? On 21 April 2017, SINFONIA experts will hold a special workshop to answer children’s questions on climate change adaptation and sustainable urban development in the framework of the Action Day organised by the University of Innsbruck. After the workshop, students from the age of 10 to 18 will be invited to test a miniature car track powered with solar energy. In addition, the participants will have the opportunity to present their ideas for the "Smart Cities of the future" in a dedicated competition and to win exciting prices.

During this 14th edition of the Innsbruck University Action Day, 40 Institutes of the University will open their doors to raise children‘s interest in research and science. The activities will take place from 8.00 to 14.00 on the Innrain Campus and in the Centre for Chemestry and Biomedicine. For more information, you can read the conference programme and contact the event’s organisation team to register.
